weeding out the bs

Let's talk about it... I think that's the only way to truly be productive in any sense, actually hash out thoughts on things, expose the reality...

I watch a lot politics vids these days. Don't know why I care so much. I only ever passingly glanced at things when Obama was doing stuff, only to hear about bin laden this or that, race this and race that, shootings etc, health care hoopla. His presidency was boring. It was like watching paint dry. Revisiting it, his presidency was immensely fascinating. The depth of his intellect I never acknowledged. The patience, class, poise he embodied, never registered to me... the suppressed rage he had and frustration he went through, unbelievable... Now he has to stand back and watch the country burn...

Can you imagine that?

The sadness he must feel now must be unbearable... He can't do anything.

Thankfully the group dedicated to getting rid of Clump from the Oval Office is a very big very powerful one that won't be easily deterred and is indeed having an impact.

I hope the resistance succeeds. This has to end, we cannot allow America to Burn, no matter the cost. This country deserves to thrive, to survive, to live on to see many more centuries, do not let it end because of a simpsons episode.

What I want to really get to is my discovery of the Spin machine... We all know about Fucks Nudes. I've recently had bouts of being online as a forum user since I was 14, I'm 31 now. Didn't know it, but back at 14 while using forums I was dealing with a lot of politically minded people who knew all the tricks that I didn't... yeesh was that fun to deal with. But I pressed on, took my lumps, and now am a lot wiser about how people like to SPIN the truth and DISTORT reality to their own agenda.

One point I wanted to get to was the McCain vote. The sweeping hypocrisy over that one man and his vote was striking and should not be easily glossed over. Soon as he voted yes to go to debate, EVERYONE cursed him out wished him death. Soon as he voted No, EVERYONE sucked his dick. That's SHAMEFUL. I feel bad about cursing him when he voted yes. I respected him for his service and of course the tortured life he's lived, who couldn't. But I read lots of hit pieces on him after the vote, people bringing up all kinds of dirt on him they could find. All that went away when he voted No, now he's the man... The fickle nature of politics right before my very eyes.

You're only a hero when you do what others want you to do... how blatantly pathetic. If Dump weren't such an obvious cancer to the white house, I'd not feel so noble in siding with the resistance if they're so hypocritical. But he is. He's going to cause so much problems. We've only seen the tip of the iceberg with him.

What a mess. I don't know, I mean. Now North Korea has the capacity to kill us all if it so chooses. One news video I watched stated something very scary... we've seen Slump fail and stumble so much in such a short period of time, what would happen if we did go to nuclear war, hard decisions needing to be made, what would happen? That's a horrible thought. Are there fail safes to this? Is there a process that would allow us to maybe some how fix this? Can we have a redo of the election? Is that so bad an idea?

Dreading the future was not what I expected to be doing at this point in my life I can goddamn tell you that...

How do I personally go about weeding out the bs lies and distortion going on? I watch reporters doing their best to circumvent spin and it's interesting. Reince Prius was on a show spinning why he got fired like a pro. Not directly answering shit. Avoiding discussion of what really was at the root of his dismissal from his job.... It helps to see how it's done to know when someone is providing you bs and lying out their ass hole. The new Fonz guy Scoobydouche we have now taking Spicer's place is the goddamn perfect example of a lying weasel who will say anything at all to get what he wants. Just 5 minutes of listening to his spiel and you'll know how to spot bs. So that's all I really do, watch and wait for the bs and understand how these guys do it. And yunno, when you're caught lying soooo much, it's really time to just shut up don't you think? But they don't. They keep walking right into that brick wall again and again as if it's going to suddenly make people forget everything you say is bs.

I don't know. Just be an honest guy, suddenly the bs'ers out there will stand out like a beacon and be caught red handed, that's the best option, I can only assume. Don't stoop to their level...

Further progress on costume concepts

So trumpcare fell on its face, interesting. I'm glad, as far as potentially signaling to Lump that this fiasco of his has to end, maybe this will put those wheels in motion... 

That camera that broke was worth 300 dollars if you didn't know... meaning that I really am boned as far as finding a suitable replacement. I have wheels turning that might allow me to afford a new one and get back into the mix.... So hopefully all goes as planned...

Ron Howard's actually mad chill directing Han Solo

That's interesting to note... He's actually kinda just chillin while directing, hanging out on twitter watching youtube vids people are making using his voice overs etc....

I'm kinda taken aback by that. I thought he'd be a jittery mess struggling to fix and repair Lord and Miller's film.

He's just relaxing while he works on it. His confidence in his abilities is impressive. Perhaps he'll knock this thing out of the park....

I curse that things ended up the way they did, but having Howard on it actually makes me interested in watching it since he's got a sense of humor about things, literally is the f'n leave it to beaver, not only that, what am I saying, he's the goddamn kid from Andy Griffith show. All I'm saying is that, he's american as it gets. And I like that.

Star Wars is an American film, made with American Graffiti, and it needs to have an American perspective driving it...

Anyway, here's the stuff I'm working on. I'm rusty as balls as an sketch artist. I mean I still have honed my skills to a level beyond ordinary people, but I haven't gotten gritty and worked hard on sketches in ages so it's kinda tough to get back into it...

Here we go though, getting started. Will make the first in black and white, the rest will be full color...

So much going on

I can't make sense of all the current back and forth in the political world and wish I could truly divorce myself from it, but there is reason to be concerned. This is a time where America's being tested probably the worst it'll ever be tested by someone in charge of her, who doesn't deserve to be and is and has showcased a level of stupidity that no president has ever displayed before, ever....

It's like we're all frozen in history right now at a time that will be talked about and studied hundreds of years from now. We are all stuck in that bubble of time that will live on moreso than the others, in infamy...

That time when America stumbled.

That's how this shit show is going to be remembered, you damn straight it will...

And I guess it has to. For us to learn about who not to elect, we need the country to crash and wake us up, I guess so...

Going to be drawing the static sketches for the scene where he starts constructing his costume...

Broke my camera so now I need a new one. Truthfully it was already broken, I just applied tons of grease to it to keep the lense capable of opening up and popping out, which was the problem. Now it finally died on me. And I have no money to buy a new camera. I've struggled with fixing it to work even while broken, but that of course didn't fly... So all filming has been haulted.

Who gives a damn right, not many or any I dare say... Agreed, my project is not on many's radar but I must say having cut my teeth on the film making process, it's actually begun to get good. I've discovered shit about it that makes the scenes I'm cutting together actually pretty fantastic and worthy of being taken seriously and watched... Clever little shit I've come up with as I've gone through and fought to work out the shots....

I'm like proud of myself for not giving up so far. I'm scared shitless of going and actually shooting the final battle because it's sooooooooooo complex a shoot...

And damn it if I don't feel like anyone's going to watch this when it's all over, but I feel like it's worth doing nonetheless...

Warriors of Virtue

Recently decided to sit and watch this movie... saw it as a kid on a lazy sunday or something...

Thought it was freakin awesome and is to this day a forgotten classic of cinema. That they had the balls to make this movie is just unbelievable shit... just amazingly crafted 90s movie full of 90s cheese but still so genius in its overall craftsmanship.

I'm just floored by it honestly. Everything possible they could have thought of to make the movie a true masterpiece of action cinema, they did it. no stone is left unturned in this.

I never underrated the movie, always loved it, but never was an enormous fan of it. Star Wars of course took that mantle and hopefully still will for all eternity after the dust settles from the new movies.

But revisiting it, I'm just... it's like too brilliant, my brain can't handle what they pulled off in this film. It's everything force awakens should have been, everything they SHOULD be trying to do with the new star wars movies, create a mystical, other worldly reality, not stick us on a bunch of movie sets.

That's what movies did back in the 90s. That was the MO of the time period, create an illusion for kids to escape their lives into. That's it.. that's all movies mostly tried to accomplish back then.

And it does. I'm just watching the movie and getting that childhood feel of wonderment right back as I watch it... it's nuts. But that's the purpose of the film, to sell the illusion, and it's so well done, I'm just totally blown away, bravo douge jones etc... bravo. Don't make them like they used to indeed....

Glad it exists though. All one needs to do is point at it and say, YEAH THIS OLD ASS MOVIE SHITS ALL OVER WHAT YOU GUYS ARE DOING TODAY...

Is it perfect? No, it's a clunker when it comes to the annoying kid and his story line, soooo cliche, but the roo stuff, the fantasy stuff, fuck it's too great...

Nope, car's not dead

Thank GOD in heaven....

I mean, this was killing me.... and I'm not one to get emotional, had to struggle for so long to suppress everything my whole life having so much drama, that I'm a numb kinda person, but omg to spend money on something and lose everything all your hopes like that, fuck...

Found the alarm kill switch on my car and pushed the button down for a few seconds and it murdered it... who knew someone installed an alarm in this beat up old piece of junk I got.

I'll forever love this car more than my others... so much bullshit to get it up and running, new battery, didn't fix the problem. Tried jumping it a billion times, didn't fix it.... messed with its wires, hood latches, fuses, didn't do dick.

All I had to do was hold down a tiny button for a few seconds... You got to be shitting me.

I knew it was an alarm from my research on what happens when the lights are blinking and shit... and how alarms can kill a car's starter.


So then it was a matter of figuring out how to disable it. Luckily youtube has like one little video on the subject of disabling an alarm using the alarm kill button under the driver side dash. FUUUUUUUUUUUCK..

so yeah, had a fun couple of days....
