How much am I worth to disney...
Got thinking about this just now... It is something that I never thought about. Literally I'm telling you guys all I've done since hitting puberty was jack off and watch cartoons. I never gave a shit about becoming a person of significance. I don't see that as my future at all but the door is open, a crack yes, but one that if I don't jump on and at least try to get, will close forever.
I'm probably worth a couple million dollars to Disney in my estimations.
IF I get cast as Lando, and we knock the movie out, get it done nice and shit, my participation in it will net them A LOT of bread there. They'll probably throw a couple thousand my way for being a good sport I guess...
But having me in the movie will indeed bring in quite a bit of money considering they'll have someone on deck who is a spot on match for billy dee vs going after some douche bag who looks nothing like him at all.
Well, we'll see. This is what they call a win/win scenario. There's no loss here for anybody. If they don't seek me out for it, that's just odd beyond measure in my mind.

Gotta say the nostalgia bus came rolling in watching the trailer. I will not be watching the show though. I've seen A LOT of episodes of full house. A LOT. I don't think I could survive more of it.
Who's the show for really? My generation who grew up on it and want to see the old gang again sans the olsens?
To be honest, I didn't like full house. It was just something to watch before the good shit. It was never a show that I flocked to and felt like I couldn't miss an episode. It was just that shit that came on before america's funniest home videos.
It was a mediocre 90s sitcom back then and apparently a mediocre 90s sitcom today, well done?
It's technically taking place in the same universe as Family Matters. If they have Jaleel come on and guest appear as stephan, I'd die so fucking hard at that. But Jaleel won't want to reverse his career most likely. He's always joking on facebook about the urkel thing, but I prefer he distance himself from it and try something new myself.

fbi vs apple
Very important case being fought right now.
I didn't think much of it, but chris pirillo is absolutely correct. If the FBI forces apple to unlock the phones, that infringes on fundamental American liberties that we cannot and should not set a precedent for future invasions into encrypted software by government.
Strange that Bill Gates would side with the FBI, very strange. That would mean any time he has encrypted software, he's saying the FBI should have unrestricted access to it cuz they be all powerful hitler.
Well, boy oh boy, is this going to be interesting.
NO, the Gov should NOT have the power to invade your privacy. They're supposed to protect it. Not go and force their way into your life. They better not win this case.

why I don't watch supergirl...
who cares if I watch this stuff, but yeah it is out of character for me to not watch new superheroics on tv. I've always done so, why stop. Cuz I've seen the show already. 10 seasons of smallville kinda takes the wind out of the new show's sails, plus I grew up watching Lois and Clark. So I'm kinda not the right guy to watch the supergirl show. What the hell can they bring that I haven't already seen a hundred episodes over my long years? They got the super aspect going now basically... Why didn't they just ask tom welling and crew to come back and create a Metropolis series? Tom welling literally simply looks like a 30 something superman at this point in time. He could have stepped up to it and by god the guy needs the work.
Ultimately it's just TV being stupid as usual. Making shows nobody wants, and cancelling good shit...

who is Lando Calrissian
Got to write on this. In fact. I'm going to spend maybe the next few months writing a lot about and drawing some sketches of lando so I can fully understand him before I step foot before cameras.
I don't want anyone else touching him but me. No. It's not gonna happen, they're not going to make this movie without me playing him, or it's not getting done.
Who do I think Lando is...
He's like a doctor in my mind. The way Billy plays him, he's cool, but classy and intelligent. That's the vibe you get from a lot of doctors out there. They're massively intelligent but maintain this relaxed attitude from my experiences with them so far. I like that and think it would work for him.
He'll be younger in the film, so he's not like a lot of docs you see who are seasoned vets. He's like an intern in the movie, kinda like a scrubs doc.
The reason I compare him to a doctor is because of that maturity level he embodies. He's not just some space punk like Han. He's the smarter one of the two and that's why he's so shocked by losing the falcon. It doesn't make sense to him. He's smarter than Han, how did Han outwit him.
If I do get the part, Phil and Chris. I want to downplay the character. It's going to be a more subtle performance I hope. Nothing in your face like in a lot of these movies. That's the beauty of Billy's original performance. He's so held back in ESB. He never over plays any aspect of Lando so you get the sense that he's a real person with a lot on his mind. Really look at the performance and see how Billy constantly holds back and plays Lando with his body language more than his words and expressions. You get a sense of there being history between him and Han just from the way he so effortlessly seems to fit right into their group from the start. The way Lando looks after Vader says he's changing the deal, no over the top OMG expression, just Lando looking completely devastated. I got to say, Billy knew what the hell he was doing. He could have brought things loud and over the top, but held back and made the performance a lot more subdued.

getting my job back...
Looks like it.
TSA is hiring and I'm potentially on the cusp of getting back in. Should never have left. Best job I ever had in the last few years.
Go to work, pretend to care, leave. Shitloads of money all dropped in your account. I'll do anything to get that shit back.
Now of course if Disney comes a knocking and I do get the Lando part, I'll never have to worry about money ever again. like, ever.... Not a bad way to go for me. I'll do it for free tho. I mean I don't have to worry about money anyway. If I wanted to I could have gotten a degree, just didn't give a shit about that crap is all.
I just wish Phil and Chris would get in contact with me, or the casting director... SOMETHING. I'm standing here, today, not dead, living breathing, young version of billy dee williams. Star Wars fanboy, Mark Skywalker Hamill has given a shit about my tweet to him, all these things and yet I'm just kinda still not on the radar for the part of Lando, strange.
I got to get in shape though. Sadly I've never really known how to stay fit and so I'm not really fit. Need to get a gym membership back.

Swat Kats returning?
Didn't have a clue about this.
For the Love of GOD let this happen. Seems like it's actually going forward and they're going to make a sequel series to swat kats at some point. Goddamn, have I lived way too long or what, but it's payed off. Nothing beats swat kats back in the 90s baby. Pure fuckass sweet cartoon bliss that show.

Star Wars musings
I have to say my appreciation for force awakens grows day by day. The pit that star wars has been in since the prequels is being slowly but surely un-done. My hopes are that the new trilogy will be so much better than those films that you can leave the prequels out and not miss anything.
And I personally won't. I look back on them and just wish Lucas did let someone else direct. Having them basically be completely held back in terms of newer better ideas and such was what destroyed them. It wouldn't have hurt if Lucas sold star wars before filming Attack of the Clones.
People say TPM was where star wars went off track, but not so imo. It was Attack of the Clones that really threw it off.
The movie has no real point and is the least interesting of the series. Anakin comes off as a jerk and such for no reason. This character trait is completely removed in RotS so why was it even introduced. Obviously Lucas was setting Anakin up as this bad apple in the Jedi order who you'd think would go rouge. Only he doesn't use it in the next movie and making Anakin unlikable makes him hard to like in the next film anyway despite them removing his jerkishness.
What they should have done was use the pyro method from X2. His fall to the darkside actually makes sense. He turns to Magneto's side because he is slowly seduced to it and CHOOSES to side with magneto because he witnesses the evil of mankind and believes in Magneto's ideology. Imagine Brian Singer directing a star wars movie. JESUS. It'd be too great.
Imagine if Anakin went to the dark side because he witnessed corruption in the jedi order, was bullied, labeled a freak by his commrades, felt alone, isolated, like he didn't belong and ultimately was being suppressed by the jedi because his power would far surpass anything they've ever thought possible. It would have made his seduction the dark side far more interesting than the quick blink of an eye one we got.
I don't love force awakens. Lucas is right in that it really doesn't introduce new visuals to us. It takes what we already got and gives us more prettymuch. It's very much a brother to ROTJ. But I do like the subtle aspects of it. The intro of the star destroyer I didn't like at first, but now I get the point. JJ is showing the first order eclipsing the moon to show that they're all about removing light. Gotya. This is played with a lot throughout the film. The hyperspace fx is used to show that I guess that the falcon is riding the LIGHT, that visual is often drummed up a lot, particularly because it's supposed to show us that the light force is with the falcon or some such thing. But as per usual, all of the scenes with the sith are dark, all of the scenes with the good guys feature light. On and on, if you watch for it, you'll notice this dynamic constantly. Another point, I originally didn't like Luke's Island hide away, but when you see how damn BRIGHT the scene is, that's the point. The first jedi temple was on a very BRIGHT spot in the universe.
So now that I see the subtext there, it elevates my thoughts on the film.

Batman vs superman thawts
Looks stupid and I'm not one to not like stupid crazy comic book movies, but I'm not a fan of Zack Snyder. He's just michael bay's clone prettymuch. I feel sorry for Cavil. He's a very classy guy, I grew up watching his career and he's never made piss poor work. Never aimed for the LCD. He's a really high minded person. To suddenly be trapped in zack snyder's super hero porn must make him sick. But he has no choice, signed a contract to make sequels.
The movie's going to be nonsense sadly. I just know it. And I've bore witness to a lot of nonsense in my time. But this movie just looks like it's going to toss in everything stupid it can think of and come out just as ho hum as Man of Steel if not more so.
And that hurts me. I really love super hero movies. It's been my life since I was a kid. Anyone who knows a thing about me, I've been all about these big screen comic adaptations since it all began with xmen. Everything about that movie warts and all is connected to my soul as a person. I'm just as weird, determined, but flawed as X1.
Still to this day hold that movie to my heart because it was so perfect for me at that moment in my life. I got on the bus went to the movies and just sat there in heaven watching the FIRST EVER live action x-men movie. That experience was unbeatable. I saw all the sequels of course but nothing beats being there when X1 came out and it just kicked my ass it was so great to see it hit most of the right notes and do xmen properly.
That movie is my home. I can always go back to it and remember when life didn't suck so much.
And life sure as hell took a nose dive after peaking in thst late 90s early 2000 period, war, death, you name it, shit hit the fan hard after that point.
But yeah, back to my point. I'm just not feeling this movie. How ya gonna stuff wonder woman in the mix too? Screams venom in sidey 3. Venom so deserved to be handled properly not be cast as topher grace and then fucked in the ass like that for all to see. It was just a big wtf that film and I was so loyal to the raimi spiderman. I felt betrayed but I guess they didn't nor did they ever intend to keep that series legit. It was just maybe an fx test sorta thing to see if they can get the swinging and shit done properly who kows... Now we're going to get spidey reboot AGAIN!! YAY!!! Am I in a time warp? Did I not already jump into this pool already, fucking twice? By the time I'm 50, they'll be making spidey reboots apparently.
Get it right, or just stop trying please....
Anyway, just wanted to express my apprehension regarding the new batman and superman and wonderwoman and doomsday and probably wonder twins movie they're going to shit on all of us soon.
Ain't feelin it, baby. I mean if they surprise my ass and it's actually good shit, then ok but all signs point to it not.

Things that need improving in Battlefront
lots of shit.
But more elaborately, the game as it exists is designed for pick up and play and it accomplishes that prettymuch.
In the inevitable sequel, don't skimp on shit EA. Deliver MASSIVE better, everything.
I mean it's just so bare bones. Hard to believe the people behind Battlefield 4 made this game really. No where near the same depth and realism as Battlefield. It's just like I went and bought a ps2 gta game when we are in the GTA V era now. It's that backwards. Battlefront simply feels superficial like there's a massively better game hidden underneath what we're all playing right now.
In the next one, please just take the AT AT off the rails and make it about stopping it as a player drives the shit. How badass would that be to have full control of the AT AT the whole mission.
The ships should be landable. So lame the fact that you can fly all over the map and not land like you can in the ps2 game. Why's the ps2 more powerful than the new game? Why?
Make the hero something you can earn. I was watching a video some guy did on his battlefront experience and he was just shocked that you don't get to be the hero by somehow defeating the hero. That at least should be put in, that if you are able to kill a hero, you get to be the hero at some point.
What else. Take a que from teh psp battlefronts and make the load outs totally customizable and you can even totally customize your look too. They really went for broke with the psp battlefront. I played it for a brief while when the online was still on and the controls were impossible to use but it was definitely a good and very well made battlefront game, probably better than battlefront 2. I wish they'd port those to the PC so we could at least throw down old school style in a battle front.
It's so frustrating to play the game and die every goddamn second too. Not saying I lived forever in battlefront 2 but I think you had a hell of a lot more durability in that game in the end. They designed that game to be fun to play, so it'd be tough to kill you and you'd have a tough time killing the other guy. Not like this shit where you just have to get used to respawning every damn second.
What else, dunno really... Just such a frustrating game that's wasting potential. The thing that sucks too is that the ability to recover is gone from heros. So whatever health you have, deal with it, not gonna regenerate after a kill. That's such nonsense.
Would be fun if they actually included much better maps. The only map worth shit in the whole game is the endor map. That's how shooter levels are supposed to be designed. Give the player plenty of places to go, lots of high spots. The other levels are so flat and uninteresting, there's just no real complexity, just lazy level design. And that's a shock, considering the damn battlefield maps are a masterpieces...

The ships should be landable. So lame the fact that you can fly all over the map and not land like you can in the ps2 game. Why's the ps2 more powerful than the new game? Why?
Make the hero something you can earn. I was watching a video some guy did on his battlefront experience and he was just shocked that you don't get to be the hero by somehow defeating the hero. That at least should be put in, that if you are able to kill a hero, you get to be the hero at some point.
What else. Take a que from teh psp battlefronts and make the load outs totally customizable and you can even totally customize your look too. They really went for broke with the psp battlefront. I played it for a brief while when the online was still on and the controls were impossible to use but it was definitely a good and very well made battlefront game, probably better than battlefront 2. I wish they'd port those to the PC so we could at least throw down old school style in a battle front.
It's so frustrating to play the game and die every goddamn second too. Not saying I lived forever in battlefront 2 but I think you had a hell of a lot more durability in that game in the end. They designed that game to be fun to play, so it'd be tough to kill you and you'd have a tough time killing the other guy. Not like this shit where you just have to get used to respawning every damn second.
What else, dunno really... Just such a frustrating game that's wasting potential. The thing that sucks too is that the ability to recover is gone from heros. So whatever health you have, deal with it, not gonna regenerate after a kill. That's such nonsense.
Would be fun if they actually included much better maps. The only map worth shit in the whole game is the endor map. That's how shooter levels are supposed to be designed. Give the player plenty of places to go, lots of high spots. The other levels are so flat and uninteresting, there's just no real complexity, just lazy level design. And that's a shock, considering the damn battlefield maps are a masterpieces...

facebook olympics
facebook's a neat little thing. No doubt it will have competitors. It's not particularly new or nothing... when I heard of its rise to dominance in the online world, I couldn't understand its popularity, since everybody had myspace. But the popularity is due to the live-updating and shit that it allows and just stupid simple way for people to create a mini website. Free websites is nothing new. But to make one was never so stupid simple as this.
How long will it last? Will google take over with their own version. What is youtube but facebook for videos anyway?
Like I said, nothing new about facebook but the thing where you can get some kind of live update on new stuff is what's making it different otherwise the net has had facebook-like stuff since it started.
one thing I was thinking about was if they actually created an online arcade in facebook land. I'd be down for that shit.
Chess, monopoly, poker. Invite friends only, whatever ya wanna do. Then just play big and small games on it. It's like in GTAonline. When I can invite friends to play games like tennis or golf etc. It'd be interesting if they integrated gaming into facebook.

He intends to grant internet access to everyone around the globe and most likely create an infinite source of knowledge and learning through the web that will enrich the lives of those on this earth who still live in the stone ages. Noble and kinda far fetched. The web is just the web. It's what you make it. It's neither going to be the beacon of hope for humanity or its destruction. It's just going to be a tool, like any tool. Use it to build a house and make art, or break things down. Either way, it's on you.

creed thawts
watched creed, somehow. Not gonna divulge but if I could have seen it in theaters I would have. It's certainly everything the critics called it.
My biggest issue with it though as a life long rocky nut is that Rocky steals the movie in every scene he's in. I felt for Creed and his journey but as soon as stallone steps into frame it's his movie and solidifies this as a welcome final chapter in the rocky legacy. If indeed it is. Didn't expect rocky to still be alive at the end of the movie. What is that supposed to mean? We'll see rocky train adonis in the sequel too as he goes up against Drago's son? Who da fuk knows...
Nice little movie ya can watch and never really have any idea it belongs to the older film series. But it definitely has the same spirit and plays the same notes as the originals, creating an atmosphere of somewhat comic bookish quality to the film like in the original movie. Tall tale kinda feel like it's not about playing it straight, it's about going for the bigger picture. I liked that.
Word was that Rocky died in it and indeed he's severely ill at the end of the film and is on his last legs. That's my problem with the movie. It guts and disassembles a legendary hero right in front of our eyes for no good reason I can figure out, but at the start of the movie, Rocky's in decent health. At the end he's limping and pale and sickly. So now I have to have that image in my head when I watch rocky 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I have to prepare for the elderly half dead rocky. That's unacceptable. I know that's life, but definitely not something I think should become a norm, seeing young prime heros grow old and feeble. It's just not proper.
I'm not saying I want film making to never tread foot into the reality of life, but this is Rocky, not fucking million dollar baby or a documentary. Rocky is almost a mythological story. You will NEVER read a story about myths in their twilight years.
The film is fine the way it is and plausible. What the fuck does rocky do after he retires? Probably trains a new fighter, duh. So we get to see that. And it properly re-injects creed into the rocky story after he was missing from RB. But yeah like I said, they damn fucking tried their hardest you could tell, but as soon as Stallone uttered one word, he stole the film from everyone else. And he's the side character in this movie, that's not good for the film in the end. And all the shots of rocky getting sick and throwing up and seeing him as an aging old man, way too over the top. Wow. Why go and sweep the rug from under that happy ending we saw in Rocky Balboa. Oh by the way, after Rocky triumphs and proves age can't beat him, he's an old feeble vomiting blood and slowly dying man after all's said and done... So horrible to watch. And it's just sad really. Rocky is supposed to embody the pure power of the underdog spirit. To see him have all that power drained and in one scene he basically says he's fucked, nothing he can do now about his aging. Well yeah, but don't show us this shit.
But yeah, very quality movie. It's more of a character piece and good compliment to Rocky Balboa, in fact it's basically a better version of Rocky Balboa. If I had it my way I'd fuse the two films into one so we remove the steps character and replace him with Adonis and after Rocky meets him and gets his last fight, he starts training Adonis for his career, works for me.
But like I said, its biggest glaring flaw is that it's got Rocky hanging out in it. How could they have fixed this giant elephant in the room? Shit. I guess have Rocky be long dead, but Dukes trains apollo's son and constantly reminiscences about rocky. No mention of Dukes in the movie. So he's probably dead, not like Tony Burton couldn't have showed up would have made the movie have some kick to it...

My issues with GB reboot
Who cares what I think, nobody. I know. This world is full of terrible things and everybody hates everybody. Now shut up and go shoot yourself, I've got business to attend to.
I was a little boy at my aunt's house and ghostbusters came on tv. Changed my life, that shit.
Now I sit here, 29 about to be 30 in april and they're remaking it in front of my face. Of course I'm angry about it.
GB has now officially been placed into the film archives alongside back to the future. Yep, it's officially a classic by every high standards we hold for films. Now they're remaking it.
Only thing this movie can compare to is that robocop remake. Sure, robocop is just an old 80s movie who cares if it gets remade. WELL it's brilliant, that's the problem. Remaking it is tough and in fact the remake sucks so they failed of course.
Look at it this way. What IF they remade back to the future. What would happen? How would that shit work out. Damn straight the fx would be a billion times better, but you'd be watching a far inferior film in the end.
This new movie will NOT beat what Ramis, Aykroyd and Murray made. It will be about as good as evolution was in the end and we'll all suffer for it... Damnit we'll all suffer for it!
We'll have GB back but it won't be proper GB and that's just sad. Well all I hope for at this point is a re-interest in ecto cooler. Jesus christ would sipping a tub of that shit at the theater make me a happy camper...

some thoughts on the honor 5x phone
Got one of these shits. It's definitely a nice phone, recommend it. Sadly though I got a whole novel I can write to you all about how incredibly ass pounding it was to get this thing rooted and functioning as a way to transfer apps to my android wear watch.
If you get this particular phone be warned, it's locked by the company and in order to root it you have to get a key code from them by registering the phone on their website. I never thought I'd see such a practice. It's a cheap android phone, dime a dozen. Why in the hell did they make it a bitch to root it. I just rooted my mom's phone in five minutes cuz it's just a cheap shitty phone nobody cares about. I understand the much more High profile phones being tough to crack and taking months of reverse engineering but this is retarded.
I was losing my mind today. And I'm a very cool relaxed dude, but I was just going nuts thinking about how I can crack this phone and I did some deep fucking research and apparently that's what this company does, they just give you a code that you have to put in to access the phone's unlocked mode. Such a pain inda ass today.... I fought way too hard to open this phone up to root it. I literally sat here all day learning to do computer code and manually root a phone all day. Step by step, code and line after line, it was like doing major surgery. I sat here and just kept at it and here I stand, the phone is totally mine to exploit in any way I wish. Didn't waste 200 dollars.
Sucks though I have to say. I never thought, and I've struggled with a lot of bullshit but I've rooted all kinds of android shit. Like this tablet I bought, it was rootable but only through specific drivers etc. The other tablet I rooted using some weird program that was the only one that could do it. On and on, it's been a nightmare rooting androids since they all have specific requirements. But yeah, I felt like my younger self again. I used to tinker with gadgets all day to see if I could get them to work properly. Video encoding being the most incredibly difficult one I ever tackled. Fixing a broken playstation 3, been around the world with that. Fixing my phones. In fact that's basically where I've been having way too much focus building and reverse engineering phones and shit. I don't know why but it's been a hell of a journey but I just wanted to help anyone else if they are going to get this phone.
It's cheap, no frills, straight forward but at least as good as the samsung s5 to some extent only it cost a hell of a lot less.
So far so good. With it rooted, I've overclocked it a little, got it going nice and smooth, going to try to clean it up with app killers and stuff that might be bogging it down. Although I don't much care to use the phone for stuff I can easily do on a tablet anyway so whatever...

I've been furiously writing my own lines to say as Lando in the stand alone movie.
I want to contribute and really put everything I've learned about film making into it if I can help phil and chris. I don't know what they think about the task they've been given. Sure enough they know now that the movie they are making will do probably triple what lego movie made and is going to be a very very big profile film. Hell not sure if they want to bank on casting me as Lando now that the stakes are definitely going to be through the roof but all I can say is that I was there as a kid in 97 watching my star wars VHS tapes and have been full on star wars insane since that moment in my life. I will go the distance for them, whatever they want, I'll give them. We have the opportunity today to get this bitch done and make it proper, all I'm saying.

"What was it, the force, Han? You starting to believe in that stuff now?" Han- "Never, Lando, Never..."
"Where da blue wimen at?"
"Nothing's over between us. It's just begun, Han. It's just begun." Sorta a ripoff of cound dooku's line from AotC but whatever...
