Thawtz on Bangarang

Gotta talk about this. Dante Basco... what is there to say about him. Unbelievable career first of all. It's just getting your foot in the door in hollywood is tough. Getting roles after is tough. But to not only be in hook, go on to become zuko, multple other voice roles. Still gets work as an actor. Didn't see it coming. All the other lost boys, no offense, went on to modest careers. Not him.

Now he's spear heading the Rufio movie, Bangarang.

I'm down with that. You don't get it, I lived and breathed Hook almost as much as I did Star Wars. That movie is a part of my soul as weird as that sounds. You think I'm just talking out my butt hole. I freakin bought the hook game for game boy goddamit. I played that shit all day... snes joint too. It was a terrible game, but it was HOOK. I loved it. I'm so looking forward to it. I hope Spielberg puts his hand in although he'll likely not want to touch Hook ever again, from what I read about it, he wants to wash his hands of the film forever. Too bad, it's a mini masterpiece that will stand the test of time.

We need films like it in today's bleak hopeless world we're in now, show it to your kids, let them have a great childhood like I honestly did.

I mean I just love what Hook meant as a film, it meant, anybody can be the pan. You gotta understand what that film was saying!!!! It transcended the meager trappings we hold on to and proposed that Peter Pan was just the spirit of youth, not bound by flesh.

I liked that message.

So many layers to Hook that we don't appreciate...

Be interesting if everybody living from Hook made cameos. I'd die. I'd literally die if that shit happened.

If you've been following the youtube page of thomas tulok or whatever his name is. The guy who played too small. He says he made decent money on hook then his parents screwed him out of it and spent it all for themselves, so he actually didn't get to see the money  he earned. And he had a damn big role in the film, you can imagine he got paaaaaaaid.

anyway, this is big news. Dante etc, it just doing it for fun, but he has to know how much Hook meant to us 90s brats.

It was our lives man. This is long overdue. Goddamn, I'm looking forward to this stuff. Yeah, one wonders. Where the flying hell did Rufio come from... That is a good question...
