This whole ghostbusters thing is just amazing

Never even began to think I'd live to see this kind of shit.

So we're getting a reboot and as much as I'm trying to find good in the clips and tv spots they put out, I can't see it. This is a bomb waiting to happen. The CGI is awful, I mean really truly Awful like it doesn't even attempt to look real. It's just fake and scooby doo level. Obviously the movie's not aiming for semi-realism like the original movie. There won't be moments when you feel as if you're just watching a normal movie. It's going to be in your face, cartoonish comedy stuff.

Now of course, it comes down to whether our little next generation will want to watch it and force their parents to go take them to it.

Lord, I hope they're not stupid enough to make this movie a hit.

But then again, if it is a hit, it's going to be keeping ecto cooler flowing. I'm truly conflicted. I want this movie to bomb so hard and die real fast, but at the same time, I want to keep ecto cooler in stores for YEARS. Not just this quick revival they have going to promote the film.

It's like, to me. They'll cut ecto cooler production short REAL FAST if the movie bombs. Sony will want to dump the ghostbusters brand asap and Hi-c will end the ecto cooler production and we'll once again see it all gone off shelves within a year or so.

I have two boxes of the golden nectar frozen in the freezer as I type this. I mean that's just forward thinking really. I never preserved any of the good shit back when I had tons of it as a kid. I just never thought the shit would die. I'd have been smart enough to freeze it if I only knew. But it was around forever. It was like TGIF, just something that existed and you never thought it would die off. Hell, TGIF is still knocking around in some form these days to be honest.

Can't wait to see how my beloved ghostbusters does. I just, they're trying to sell this movie, but the real reason this movie's going to die is because of the choice of all female leads. Women aren't warriors. That's the hard cold truth this movie can't seem to get its head around. Women are not the ones who will protect the family, it's nature, simple truth. So to make a movie depicting women as the warrior protecting anything, will fall flat on its face.

It's just the way it is, nothing you me or nobody gonna do to change that shit.
