Thawtz on Gene Wilder

Thank you for existing is all I can ever truly express. He's been more of an influence on an entire generation of nerdy outcasts like myself than he could possibly ever imagine. I literally read the original wonka book as a kid because I saw that movie. It's such a great film. Just pure joy on film. Something we've lost, but should never forget about the film world. That cinema is supposed to be about uplifting and entertaining people, not a documentary on some horrible tragedy or warzone.

Had no idea he joined twitter. Makes twitter and facebook's relevance that much more powerful. These actors who use them and are giving us their wisdom will be gone and all that will remain are their posts, such as wilder's. He had a twitter account. He used it briefly. It's like looking at a ghost, reading his posts, very eerie.

So awesome that he did it though, that his last words on twitter were about his breakfast.

Makes me feel sad knowing that Mel will be gone soon too. He's lucky to still be with us and he knows it. God, why do great people have to die. That shit just makes no sense. Take bieber. Take all these isis retards. Take me if you want to. Leave the great people alone.
