Finn is back and goes undercover or something, ok. Hamill and my love Carrie fisher are awesome in this... there's a massive passion from them from the franchise. Needless to say they will save this movie no matter what it is.
In love with Rey. I feel like I'm watching star wars when she's in it. She's got that regality to her, yet childlike innocence of a fairy, so good.
Looks good. Looks like the prequel killer, continuing to wipe the sour taste of those travesties from all our mouths, please continue to be the anti-prequel franchise.
I know it's against the law to criticize George Lucas but he took star wars and blatantly took a shit on it. I have no interest at all in him returning to it, so unfortunately the mighty have fallen. It's time to move on from him.
I mean I know the unlimited potential of a properly made star wars film and if I was directing this shit, you would see a star wars film that would END all star wars films it'd be so great, goddamn.
Anyway nice to see the Johnson knows star wars has to be weird, has to be off beat. It's like a mad house of insane scifi fantasy. You have to play it like that...
Only complaint is it looks very very sterile like the prequels. I thought we were getting back to the gritty dirty quality of the OT, why the hell take inspiration from the boring bland clean cgi made prequel movies?
Anyway, I mean. I hope they just want to make fun movies that don't take themselves too seriously and celebrate the franchise and fanbase. That's all this shit needs to be, don't lose your mind trying to re-invent filmmaking with these bitches...
