Glass

Should call it Ass, that'd be more appropriate, M. Night. LAzy fuck.

Don't condone late sequels but I'll make an exception. Had no idea Split was a semi-sequel to Unbreakable. Was contemplating bootlegging it since it was so popular. Fuck me in the face. If I only knew it was unbreakable 2 in disguise I would have seen the fucker. Never saw unbreakable in theaters. Saw it on starz back in high school. High school, oh what a wonderful time. Go pretend to be a student then come home and go on the internet, wash rinse, repeat.

Why the hell did I do that shit?

Alright....

What do I think is going to happen in Glass?

I hope we see something big and worthy of waiting a decade and change first of all...

It's just I gave up on a sequel long time ago. To up and get one, sure it's exciting, but it's like hoping for something when you're 10 and then it finally happens when you're 50, different world different age and everything...

Unbreakable is a part of me, it's in my soul. I connected with that film. I mean when I was here in this house back in those days being a star wars retard, all I did was indulge in super hero fantasies. It's what I always did as a kid gravitate towards super heros on tv, read comics, to have a movie that releshed and in some ways worshipped comics and super heros, felt like, a dream realized. I watched every frame of unbreakable with pure joy expressed on my face at something that GOT ME.

It was about a man who was a hero, tried to be anyway, ME.

For M. Night to turn his back on it go make tons of shit movies that couldn't compare, just smack in the face to all of us.

Now that I suppose he's had his ego bruised by failures to go big budget with his films, he's going back to it.

Does he deserve to? Does he deserve to return to the unbreakable universe after shirking it all this time?

Fuck, I mean, it's not that world anymore of 2000. No blockbuster to go get unbreakable from and a bucket of popcorn and watch the movie, that shit's mostly gone, only small fringe towns still have video stores but they're like antiques we keep around for old times sake.

My point is, time has left 2000 behind... the time to make Glass has been left behind... Whatever reason M. Night comes up with for making the sequel now, needs to be the shit... yes, no fancy thesaurus word, just THE SHIT....

We all gave up on unbreakable 2. Willis, Sam, Everybody... we wanted it for a decade, we got a fart from M. Night as he directed some bullshit no one cared about. Now he's saying, LOL JUST KIDDING, unbreakable sequel time. Fuck, I'm 31 now you ass hole!!!

But ok, I'm still something like young, I'll make the most of it, I guess, I don't know.... I am happy that I lived this long, I am getting my unbreakable sequel as a reward for suffering life this long, that's a plus...

What's it going to be about... All out war. It has to be. This is it, the justification for Dunn's existence. He has to be the only one who can stop the Horde... What's Glass' role in this. He I think has been finding a lot more than just the Horde out there although he's happy to have Horde as an ally in his war against Dunn. But I mean, if they really want to go the comic book route here, Glass has to form his own Legion of Doom and find other super villains to tackle Dunn. Are there other super heros out there. Wouldn't be surprised if the girl who we saw in the last movie comes back with some powers of her own, whatever they may be. It's clear that her experience has changed her into a different person, no longer willing to accept things, but fight...

Do I want Die Hard with Unbreakable powers? No, not at all and neither does M. Night. If the movie doesn't have a message or some powerful idea within it, it's a fail in his eyes.

This movie will just as with a lot of what we saw in unbreakable, be inspired by old comic stories and comic complexity.

Comics are and have and forever will be about evolution of their characters. We all know that. They start one way, grow, change, become shaped by the times more or less. Will we see similar 'reflection' of the ages with the unbreakable universe. Now that times have changed. Has the characters outlooks changed. Will we see Dunn embracing his powers, will he have developed them further and bigger, better than Horde can imagine. What can Glass even do. What will he have invented to possibly defeat Dunn now that he's accepted his role as the villain in the comic. Will he want Horde out of the way so that he remains the only arch nemesis? Many doubt it. Horde will be the muscle to Glass' brains... I hope they take that route. Horde will actually be something of glass' puppet in the film, doing his bidding.

Dunn returning means his family will return, his son will return. Will something happen to him, will the kid have powers too that he didn't know about? Is he going to be the robin to Dunn's Batman? It's a staple of comics to have a side kick and in some respects, his son was his side kick in the original film. Will we see that continue?

The real driving force is going to be Elijah's character in this. This movie will no doubt be about Elijah embracing his destiny as a super villain full force. He'll want to bring hell upon earth, with Horde's help, and maybe others. Dunn will be the only one standing in their way to achieving their goal.

Then the conflict will begin I think. Elijah isn't actually all bad. He's done bad things out of a tortured insanity he's grown into being what he is, but that's not fully who he is. He's had a great mother and still loves and respects her. Could that be where Dunn tries to appeal to him, through his mother once Elijah is busted from jail?

Will it work? Will that be what makes Elijah turn around and want to help Dunn. Maybe Horde has no choice but to kill Elijah even though he believes the broken are better than the unbreakables.

What I want to see is this basically. Horde breaks Elijah out or Elijah just weasles his way out of the instintution whatever. But Elijah discovers he's not alone and informs Horde that there are others like him, and they need to get together if they want to defeat Dunn who is nearly invincible and will easily fuck them both up cuz he can't be killed. Dunn's kid warns him that he knows Elijah has been planning to find others like him and start a super villain team and Dunn needs to do the same, he can't beat them alone. Dunn arrogantly dismisses this since he's been quite successful on his own and can't even understand the idea of finding other super heros anyway. In his first encounter with Horde, he does pretty well against him, then someone helps Horde who Dunn didn't see coming and he gets his ass beat pretty badly and has to back down from the fight with Horde. Horde's got a friend or friends helping him. All of them are quite powerful in their own way and have some kind of skills. Dunn now knows he must seek some kind of help to defeat the new villain group Glass has established. They mean business and are serious, want to eat people and do all kinds of evil shit.

Question is, who does Dunn find and how. I don't know, some way some how, maybe by stealing Elijah's extensive research on people he's identified, he finds people who have gifts, massive intellect, ability to control energy forces, whatever, and enlists them. That's the only honest way I think we're going to see this thing go.... They have to I guess expand the concept now that the horde has shown up and proved to Dunn that this isn't going to end with just him and glass. It's time to finally identify these people and create a team of them.

And I guess some corn ball lesson about team work can be tossed in there.

So it's called Glass. This is going to Begin and end with Elijah, his complexity as a character. Maybe he'll be horrified by the Horde's actions of eating people alive, then again Elijah has done far worse and seems to have no regret. But he's a more classy villain about things, straight up eating people, maybe he'll not agree with horde's methods... Anwyay, the hook of the film might be that it's actually Elijah that is the true hero of the franchise in the end. That'd be a fucking twist....
