Static's motivation

Got thinking about it... why does he go out and be a hero... The only reasonable conclusion I've drawn is that he just does...

It's not an epic dramatic reason, maybe he feels responsible for the bang baby outbreak having participated in it, and maybe his mother was gunned down by gangs, or something, but when I think about it, nothing truly powerful motivates him to go out and fight crime.

The last line of my trailer that I'm working on goes like this:

What to do with all this power... I know that now... Anyone who wants to hurt others, I'm gonna put a shock to your system.

We never know exactly why he wants to use his power for good until he sees another with power abuse it. He then sees that it's his duty to use the power properly.

We'll work this out. Going to be reading all the static shock comics I can find, as well as sketching out the entire plan for the whole trailer...

Gotta lose weight, and film all this shit i have in my head. If you like it, that's cool. It's been a long gestating project. I estimate the final result will be at least 50 to 70 percent of what I have in mind actually fully realized.

Will this get me anywhere? Does facebook get anyone anywhere? I don't know. I have lofty ideals about my future as an actor, but I'm not going to waste my time banking on that bullshit. I just want to be the one person who did it, made a static shock fan film that doesn't suck.... I promise you the final battle in the forest will be something to behold. Even if you don't give a damn about static or blacks or anything to do with some fool on youtube making fan films, just check out what I'm gonna do... It will be very cool stuff.
