Linda Hamilton is Back

I gotta talk about this today... been a terminator nut since I rented that bitch from the video store as a kid... all about the franchise.

I've seen terminator taken and molded into 50 different varieties from the comics to the goddamn tiger videogame which was actually pretty fucking good to me, when I got to the final boss which was freakin skynet and it was the fucking like big tentacle creature, sweet level. I want to play that shit again.

But anyway I don't know why anyone is being shocked by this shit at all. People saying haven't we gotten enough bad terminator sequels, why pile on?

Who the hell says Cameron's above this shit? Did none of you dumbasses ever go to the Terminator 3D ride? HOLY shit, it was awesome, but made no fucking sense, but it was awesome.

Like I said prior. The terminator movies have already had their weird variations, making more is kinda its thing...

I don't hate T3 or T4 or T5. I grew up watching and living with those kinds of movies. You can't be a stuck up prude elitist when it comes to offshoots and fan films like the sequels ended up being. You roll with them. Be open about it.

The only thing I hate is Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese and the way they handled the T-3000 story. Such a joke. They flirt with the idea that Conner is still inside the T-3000 fighting it, but he never shows any spark of that being true in the end, it's just pure ol brute force that beats him. Could have been a great darth vader, power of love overcomes evil moment, too bad.... Parts of Genysis are actually fine. Yeah, Arnold playing the terminator at all again was amazing to watch for me. He's actually the highlight and only thing worth shit in it. So much history and understanding of the character in his performance, there's a passion from him. He LOVES being the terminator. So sad that he was surrounded by such a shitty film. So sad. He was excellent and totally worth it to see arnold playing terminator again. It's simply not terminator without him to be honest. But time will not allow him to play him forever sadly... I enjoyed once again seeing arnold back as him.

That's why I can't feel Salvation's anymore than a very well made fan film, genysis is too, but it gets points for having arny back that's for sure.

what about t3? IF they goddamn put in a line about how they found the arm in the factory and that allowed them to continue the research on the terminator, it'd actually all make sense, all of it. Not that judgement day is inevitable, if it's inevitable that makes EVERYTHING in T2 pointless, why did they have that line in the movie? But that yeah they made a mistake. Unaware that the arm was left behind and it lead to them having something to help them keep going... But no, they didn't do their homework and came up with something that was just decent rehash of T2 without anywhere close to the same amazing quality and brilliance. Just a weaker copy, nothing more nothing less. Honestly yeah, it's hard to find a reason to even give two fucks about T3. It didn't mean anything to the franchise. It basically shows us that T2 was pointless, judgement day fucking happened anyway, the end... what the fuck....

But yeah, we're in robocop sequel mode right now with the franchise. They're missing the point of the first movies and just taking robocop and bashing him through things all day and calling it a legit robocop movie, that's all they're doing....

Could having the actual cast back and Cameron overseeing it mean we're going to get the real T3. Hell I've waited a hell of a long time for them to finally stop fucking around and finally make a legit T3, don't know if I care anymore...

This could work, really finally give us a good one that we don't have to feel ashamed of, or it's going to sit right there next to the shit pile of sequels time will try to forget happened.... We shall see.
