The Puerto Rico disaster

I'm just like, wtf about it. I sit here worrying about finishing static shock. When there are people starving to death because of an inept fool in charge of their very survival.

What do I think about this. The future, after all the dust clears, will anything be learned from how botched things have gone?

The current attack on the mayor of San Juan is above and beyond uncalled for but to me not at all surprising. The fat fool sits above and says "let them eat cake" as has been his MO.

I've worked so many jobs in my time learning about the work world. It's fairly simple. White people hang out sipping lemonade. Brown people lift and sweat and huff and puff to keep them happy and comfortable. It's a numbers game, don't give me any bullshit about if brown people just worked harder in school they'd be up there with the white guys, just don't. There's a push to ensure majority white people regardless of competence for their positions have it better on the larger scale. No way in hell would white people want to level the playing field at all, it's just too scary to have to be under someone brown or asian, too terrifying a thought. I never thought about it that way, but yeah the REASON for the racism in the job world is because they're scared pissless of potentially having minority bosses.

Yeah, that's life. I mean I've lived long enough to just see how things are. But damn, to attack the people who you're supposed to care about, that's insane.

Abhorrent being the best word to describe it. We've gotten the message from your royal asshole in spades. He's not going to be presidential, he's going to be a douche bag granted nukes. That's kinda a terrifying thought is it not. Does his people get the message now? He's willing to attack USA itself and destroy it if it doesn't like him enough and bow to him.
