Frankly we all are. I'm f'n like worried it's gonna suck more than he is.... It's like making the sequel to superman the movie, f'n star wars even, maybe more the matrix, but my point stands...
Here I am drudging along making my own movie as he's struggling with his inner demons to find the soul of his new film...
Listen, let it go. The more you fight it, the more it's gonna be a pain. Like, as sappy as it is, you got to just let the force flow.
I'm here in the midst of the static shock movie and as I make it, the actual ACT of shooting it brings forth new ideas. It's not the planning stage that does it. Going out in the forest and shit, THAT'S when the movie comes to me. That's when I get better ideas.
So the old saying is true. RIP OFF THE BAND AID.
