I'll be doing a vid on my youtube page discussing it and I'm going to be making a remix of the trailer putting myself in as Lando as it should be. If there's more Lando in the full trailer, which I doubt, I think he's going to be nothing more than a blink and you miss it cameo myself. well I'm going to replace glover with me. In the future I might be able to actually full green screen myself into his role completely and do a massive fan edit that I'll get out there. Yes I'm dead serious.
What do I think as a long time star wars fan... So dull. So mind numbingly dull a teaser.
No variety to the planets.
Glover looks like he's waiting for his check to clear, why does lando have that hair cut and full beard. It's just a big FU to the character, they could not care less about making him look like a young lando, he's just awkward looking Donald Glover. You know, there's actual manips of glover with the permed hair of lando that actually kinda look close to Billy Dee. But apparently screw that mess, just toss glover in the movie as is. I mean wow, poor Ron. He had to have glover look the way he looked in Lord and Miller's footage and was stuck with it. He got screwed.
It's going to be an ok movie. nothing special. Watch it, munch your popcorn, move on to other things.... I guess that's fine.
Could have been a freakin masterpiece but obviously they were not aiming for that. Nothing about that teaser screams that they were aiming for more than 'eh'
