No more app gigs for me

Got two very expensive parking tickets that weren't really my fault and did not impede anyone from getting to where they were going, and definitely not like I parked in front of fire hydrants which is a big no no, but yep my ass owes 180 dollars now because that's how gov gets its money baby. I'm done, it's over.

I'll lick my wounds and go back to finding regular normal jobs now, sadly. I highly enjoyed just being like peter parker and running around manhattan delivering shit to people. If you own a moped, go for it. That's the only way to avoid tickets really. I bought a car because first of all I don't have a moped license, second wanted to run uber which is doing big retarded business here in NY, makes all the sense in the world to fill my pockets with that gold baby, but I'm out, too much happy pants parking ticket paper cops running around to bother. You park for a few seconds, walk away, magically a ticket appears.

Oh no, you parked for 7 minutes where NO ONE was and hurt no one, you better pay upwards of a 115 dollars that you can't possibly afford. Does that get those guys hard to write those tickets? Makes them feel like real cops I guess. Meter Maid assholes.

It's just a big money trap. My job consists of parking for maybe 5 minutes delivering some stuff then going back on the road, but I can't do that for fear of getting ticketed now. I never knew they were so outrageously expensive, no clue. I would easily take a 25 dollar hit during  a day that I'd work to earn 70 dollars, so what, I still profit. But no, today with these tickets reaching up to 180, I'm in the red now. All my effort has been for nothing and must now go towards these tickets. Indeed it's a scam. They want people using the parking lots which cost money and the meters etc... Now I get it. I was blind before but now I see how manhattan functions. If you own a car, every inch of street is being hounded by traffic douche bags waiting to fuck your day up over nothing. Meanwhile I see people blocking traffic with their vans cars and trucks like they own the street and no one touches them. A cab stops all traffic for miles so it can wait for a passenger for a few minutes, but no he's cool....

Yeah incase you missed it I'm very upset. I feel so defeated and betrayed because I believe in doing the right thing ok, and then good things come your way because of it, not that you go out in life do the right thing and then get beat to shit by a system that's just blindly stomping on everyone without empathy or consideration for those people's circumstances.

Weird day. I felt good yunno. I was making money now, could afford things now. All of that shit is destroyed in one day. And yunno what happened when I was on my way to manhattan, I was late for the 8am shift, so the app kicked me off the shift. I contemplated turning back to just relax and not bother working for the day. I f'n thought about it, then said, dammit gotta eat bro... I fucked myself.

Now I don't want to bother and they freakin need people down there running food to wealthy white people. They get tons of orders, such a waste of earning potential because there's no conceievable way to truly get all that shit spread to the apartments since there's no parking worth shit. I can imagine if they provided quick electric mopeds they'd get all that crap done in no time at all. But sadly they're stupid.

Sad, I'm just not even wanting to bother. Sunday's the only day I can bother with since you can actually find spots on a sunday because for whatever reason they allow much more parking on that day, but I'm still worried because I simply don't earn enough for it to make sense risking a ticket...

Run over someone, you probably pay less in the end...
