M. Night shoots Glass tomorrow.

Today actually since it's midnight.

He's no doubt kinda feeling the that little bit of trepidation about these kinds of projects. I do my own stuff with a sense of "just do it" as Shia would say. I'm a comic book artist at heart. I'm not a high artist, someone who's trying to seek perfection. I don't mind flawed shitty art. That's how I started my drawings. I didn't care if it was good. I just did it. Got the point across that I wanted. But now as I've gotten older, I do lean more towards trying to create quality stuff that pushes boundaries and makes me better as I have to tackle something harder.

My plans are to actually get heavily into digital art more than pen and paper. Jim Lee will say pen and paper is more real and tangible, absolutely but I've always believed digital was where I personally should focus my skills on. I want to do animations so bad, love doing those. I mean, I love cartoons so much.

Anyway, just wanted to wish M. Night luck. Don't fuck up my unbreakable, please. You can't do that to me.

As for what my post is truly about. I want to discuss Static Shock's Hair style.

You may have noticed in my vids, who am I kidding, nobody's watching my vids. Oh well.. anyway in them, my hair is all over the map. Sometimes looking good some times loooking mega dry as hell.

One would then wonder what's that supposed to look like, doesn't static sport dread locks?

Ah ha. Truth be told I did consider this, and indeed most of the static fan films have him in dreads and the cartoon itself looks like dreads especially on older static.

I've decided to just go with my own natural hair and to hell with dreads... why? Because it's legit.

I've actually read the entire original run of static shock before he moved to DC comics and New York in those issues. His hair was drawn like this. Prettymuch a curly choppy style to it. No dreads in sight. And that's what my hair will depict in the movie. So if you wanted the dread lock version, I ain't going to provide that, sorry.

On that note, do I personally think I look like the static from the comic? No. I'm regrettably fatter and lighter skin tone than he actually is supposed to have. Facially too I don't really think I fit him as well as I might have at 15 which is what Virgil is supposed to be. I'm f'n 31 but damn blackness keeps me from aging at the same pace as everyone else so I can kinda fake being 15. It's like, I don't straight up look like a 31 year old guy if you don't pay attention.

I'll hopefully be shooting a ton of footage tomorrow. Get a lot of the heavy harder scenes to shoot out of the way and off my chest, then stay on a hard diet to lose weight to shoot the super saiyan static scene when I get the opportunity...

Yeah, I mean I've been trying to eat little and lose weight all these weeks, but it's tough and I can only hope to use October to drop a significant amount of weight then hopefully have enough decent green left and leaves to get the shot done and not have to worry about it anymore. My goal is to have a six pack in that shot. I'm not even wanting beast mode muscle, just drop this belly fat and let my abs poke through so it has that going on...

Ugh, we'll see....
